It’s a month before Xmas! This year I will plan ahead and buy my presents all directly from artists, all handmade stuff.

I find terribly exciting to have sth that I know that another individual (maybe) on the other side of the planet, another continent made sth with care and I am able to buy it straight from the source. I  also enjoy the personal contact between seller & buyer. A few months ago I sent a jewellery piece to a lady in Germany, I was very surprised to get  a picture of her wearing my earrings along with her saying  how she liked my earrings, I was over the moon!!!

As important is too buy locally of course, and I really wish that here in Greece we will have more artists coming out and having their creations available.

I got my brother to help me re-shoot some of my jewellery pieces for my eshops. I am trying to show them on a model, and since I don’t have a  model in hand, I volunteered and my bro stood behind the camera. It was much more difficult that we anticipated , the light was not right, the model was not a model and so on…

At the end we managed to get some results take a look below

A lot happened in the last weeks, we have moved back to the city (Thessaloniki), got married and after all this craziness we popped to Tuscany for a bit of  relaxing scenery and lovely wine. We were lucky that the weather was still nice and we enjoyed our time there. Being vegan was a bit limiting, since I was having bruscetta & tagliatele with tomato sauce way too often.

Now I feel more energised and inspired to spend time in my bench and (new brilliant) kitchen! I am so glad I can have time for myself and do things I enjoy, I really missed that.
