It’s a month before Xmas! This year I will plan ahead and buy my presents all directly from artists, all handmade stuff.

I find terribly exciting to have sth that I know that another individual (maybe) on the other side of the planet, another continent made sth with care and I am able to buy it straight from the source. I  also enjoy the personal contact between seller & buyer. A few months ago I sent a jewellery piece to a lady in Germany, I was very surprised to get  a picture of her wearing my earrings along with her saying  how she liked my earrings, I was over the moon!!!

As important is too buy locally of course, and I really wish that here in Greece we will have more artists coming out and having their creations available.
